Transcriptional studies in haematopoietic development

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Scientist to join the research group of Dr Catherine Porcher http://www.mhu.mrc.ac.uk/people/c.porcher.html.

The group focuses Ｏn the transcriptional mechanisms underlying lineage specification and binary decision pathways in haematopoiesis and benefits from the outstanding core facilities and equipment of the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine.

You will require a PhD in a relevant area with a strong interest in transcriptional regulation. Previous experience in ES cell culture and a strong background in molecular and cellular biology are essential. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and independently with excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.

This position is funded by the Medical Research Council and is available fixed-term for 12 months as maternity leave cover.
