The Wind Energy Department at DTU is seeking a candidate for a Postdoc and a Researcher position in the field of offshore meteorology in the field of wind energy meteorology.

You will be a member of the meteorology section aimed at basic research in the field of boundary la
You will work with a team analyzing offshore meteorological conditions from meteorological observations, satellite remote sensing and possibly atmospheric mesoscale model results to wind energy problems, both in research and commercial projects. You will be expected to collaborate with other groups within the Wind Energy Department, in cross disciplinary projects. As well as developing and implementing new ideas within wind energy meteorology, you would be expected to write scientific articles, project applications, attend and contribute to conferences, workshops and project meetings.

The period of employment is 2 years for the Postdoc position. The Researcher position is permanent and under condition of a satisfactory evaluation of research performance, the Researcher will be promoted to Senior Researcher after no more than four years of employment.
