Applicants are invited to apply for two Wellcome Trust funded Postdoctoral Research Assistant posts within the William Harvey Research Institute at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in London. The available positions are within the Centre for Microvascular Research, an internationally respected group with an established expertise in the field of leukocyte trafficking. The appointed researchers will aim to unravel the molecular basis of disrupted modes of leukocyte-vessel wall interactions (e.g. neutrophil reverse transmigration) in models of vascular injury and ageing. These works will be conducted under the supervision of Professor Sussan Nourshargh and will employ a multidisciplinary approach but with significant emphasis On the application of advanced imaging modalities.

The posts are full-time and fixed term for 3 years. Starting salary will be in the range £30,805 – £40,335 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days’ annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
