We are looking for a highly motivated post doctoral fellow to work with the Development and Cancer Team led by Dr Amanda Swain as part of a Prostate Cancer UK funded project to identify genes that drive aggressive prostate cancer. The work will involve a combination of in vivo and in vitro approaches to analyse gene function in cancer progression and bioinformatics analysis of large datasets.
Candidates should possess a PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics or other relevant discipline, experience in molecular and cellular biology and histochemical techniques and have a strong track record of high quality biomedical research. We are particularly interested in candidates with previous experience in cancer biology, use of in vivo models and bioinformatics analysis of large data sets as this would be advantageous but is not essential.
