We look for a self-motivated individual to take charge of the theoretical aspects of a six month proof-of-concept project to investigate the predictive power of DFT for the design of high-strain rate materials. You will correlate your results with experimental input and develop predictive models to drive the materials design.
You are a highly motivated and skilled researcher with excellent communication skills. You have experience in using Density-Functional-Theory to design materials and look for a short-term challenge.
