A postdoctoral fellow position is available to study molecular and cellular mechanisms of synaptic transmission and neuronal plasticity. Candidates should have solid graduate training in neuroscience or genetics and a strong publication record using patch-clamp electrophysiological recordings, imaging, epigenetics, or proteomics approaches. Ｏngoing studies include epigenetic control of chronic pain, ion channel physiology, spinal cord synaptic plasticity, and the hypothalamus involvement in hypertension development.
