The responsibilities include designing novel tumour sampling methods, analysing genomic data from tumour samples profiled with next-generation sequencing, SNP/methylation/ex
Applicants should have a good first degree in mathematics, statistics or similar and a PhD in bioinformatics, biostatistics or similar. Applicants should have experience with next-generation sequencing and high-throughput microarray data analysis and have a good publication record in the field of cancer genomics. Experience in designing and implementing statistical models for genomic data analysis is highly desirable. Familiarity with large-scale genomic data (e.g. TCGA) would also be advantageous. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
