Dr. Fueyo’s laboratory in the Brain Tumor Program at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral position to study biology of brain tumors. Our group has generated an Ｏncolytic adenovirus that elicits anti-tumor immune response. Currently, we are further exploring the mechanisms underlying this immunity response to enhance the therapeutic effect of the Ｏncolytic therapy. The project will involve the use of immunology-related techniques and animal models.
At time of application, applicants must be in their 1st or 2nd year of postdoctoral training (PhD and/or MD), or will obtain their Ph.D. degree shortly. Background in molecular, cell biology, and/or immunology is preferred.
Our group is working within The Brain Tumor Program at MD Anderson Cancer Center, which encompasses several basic and translational research laboratories that focused Ｏn improving our knowledge and management of patients with brain cancer.
Selected applicants will have specific training through the Training in Brain Tumor Research seminars, lectured by outstanding clinicians and scientists.
