This is a CDF position in the Division of Systems Biology working Ｏn the analysis of cis-regulatory sequences associated with the control of vertebrate embryogenesis. The post holder will be expected use transgenic approaches in the zebrafish to determine the functional output of putative cis-regulatory elements, to be able to interpret the results in light of current research and also to refine or develop new methodologies where appropriate.
You should have a PhD or equivalent (or be in the final stages of completion) in a relevant area of biology, with practical experience in applying zebrafish transgenic approaches to the study of cis-regulatory sequences. The ability to work Ｏn their own initiative is essential.
