Successful candidates will lead efforts to fabricate large arrays of nanostructures for novel plasmonic color printing using interference and photolithographic approaches (see e.g. http://www.nature.com/nnano/journal/v7/n9/full/nnano.2012.128.html). Here, colors are achieved due to optical resonances in individual me
Successful candidates will investigate novel phenomena associated with color creation in optical resonators, and investigate design principles for better color pixels, e.g. color vividness, wide viewing angle.
Lithography, and nanofabrication experience are highly relevant.
Additional expertise in theory, simulations, and computer programing will be considered a plus.
