A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Lewis Chodosh in the Department of Cancer Biology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Our laboratory uses genetic, biochemical, genomic and in vivo approaches to understanding: the cellular and molecular mechanisms of tumor dormancy and breast cancer recurrence in mouse models and in patients; the role of stem cells in breast cancer development; the use of integrated genomic and computational approaches to understand genetic programs in breast cancer progression; and the role of the Hunk protein kinase in Ｏncogenesis.
We seek highly qualified individuals with a commitment to research excellence. The successful candidate should have a PhD and/or MD degree with a strong background in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, and/or biochemistry. Research experience in flow cytometry and animal models would be advantageous.
