The Wei Qiu Laboratory at Loyola University Chicago is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral candidate with an interest in liver cancer research. The Qiu Lab (http://weiqiu-lab.weebly.com/) aims to understand the molecular mechanisms of hepatocarcinogenesis. Current projects include: (1) studying the mechanisms by which focal adhesion kinase promotes hepatocarcinogenesis; (2) identifying novel targets that have the potential to be used as therapeutic agents for hepatocellular carcinoma. We consider candidates with doctoral degree and strong first-author publications. Experience with molecular cloning and mouse especially intravenous injectionis preferred.
