Postdoctoral Fellow : Columbia, MO, United States
The International Institute of Nano and Molecular Medicine (I2NM2) at the University Of Missouri – Columbia (MU) is seeking postdoctoral candidates in chemistry. I2NM2houses state-of-the-art research facilities and instrumentation.
The research projects pursued by the I2NM2are as diverse and eclectic as the fields of synthetic, nano and biochemistries. Specific interests of the Institute are new structures and reactions, which find applications in supramolecular chemistry, nanotechnology, molecular recognition and biomedicine. Current exploratory research emphases include:
1.Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) of cancer
2.Target-specific multifunctional nanomolecular drug delivery systems carrying both diagnostic and therapeutic agents
3.Rotary molecular motors and their applications in biomedicine
4.Polyhedral boranes and carboranes as novel and versatile pharmaceutical building blocks
