Postdoctoral Position in Psychiatric/Human Genetics

Applicants are invited for a postdoctoral position in Psychiatric/Human Genetics in the laboratory in the Departments of Psychiatry and Medicine (Biomedical Genetics) at Boston University School of Medicine. The applicant will be involved in the study of genetic and epigenetic mechanisms of alcohol or drug addiction and related human diseases/traits, using genome-wide association studies (GWAS), transcriptome and epitranscriptome analysis, DNA methylome analysis, sequencing technologies (exome sequencing, RNA-seq, and miRNA-seq), and functional genomics approaches.

The ideal candidate will have Ph.D. degree in psychiatric genetics, human genetics, statistical genetics,bioinformatics or computational biology. Expertise in programming (R/Bioconductor and Linux/Unix) and sequencing data analysis is preferred. Good communication skill in English is required.
