The Department of Neurological Surgery at Northwestern University is seeking an outstanding Postdoctoral Fellow for our basic and translational studies in biology of malignant brain tumors with a focus Ｏn nanoparticles as immunomodulators and therapeutic vehicles. Current research in our lab focuses Ｏn the use of nanoparticles for the targeted delivery of therapeutic agents against glioblastoma. The postdoctoral fellow will be expected to build a publication record including submissions to leading cancer biology journals; supervise rotating undergraduate, graduate and medical students; apply for internal and/or extramural funding; and attend national meetings that will help to build an international reputation.
This position offers an opportunity to work in the lab of Dr. Maciej Lesniak, as well as the potential for collaboration with Drs. Irina Balyasnikova and Atique Ahmed.
