A postdoctoral fellow is needed with experience in or knowledge of mitochondrial ion channels in health and disease. Projects for interested candidates will focus Ｏn analyzing ionic transport in mitochondria using electrophysiology and cell biology techniques.

WORK SCHEDULE: Full Time, Days.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential Qualifications:
• PhD in the biological sciences (e.g. Biochemistry, Bioengineering/Biophysics, Physiology, Neuroscience) and/or an MD (with significant research experience).
• Significant recent experience, including peer-reviewed publications, in ion channel electrophysiology (voltage-clamp/patch-clamp).
• Significant experience in Ｏne or more of the following areas: protein biochemistry/molecular biology, mouse models of cardiovascular disease, primary cell culture, fluorescence imaging.
• Highly-motivated individuals with excellent written and oral communication skills who are able to work as part of a team.
PREFERENCES:
Candidates without three or more Essential Qualifications will not be considered.
