The Neuroscience Center at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) in New Orleans, USA is seeking a motivated scientist with PhD in biological, medical, or biochemical field to fill Postdoctoral Fellow position.
Our laboratory studies wound healing impaired by diabetes or aging, skin biology / dermatology, biomarkers, peripheral neuropathy, inflammation, leukocyte biology, and pharmacology using animal and cell-culture models and comprehensive state-of-art facilities for cellular and molecular biology and neuroscience as well as mass spectrometry.
We also study Alzheimer’s disease. Our goal is to identify mechanisms underpinning the chronic wounds, inflammation, neuropathy, and Alzheimer’s disease and develop therapeutic and diagnostic leads to treat these diseases. The candidate should have closely related background. The incumbent will join the research team consisted of multidiscipline experts in the field, and have ample opportunity to conduct and publish innovative research and opportunity as well as to learn grant approaches.
