BC Stone Products (Namibia) (PTY) Ltd, based in Walvis Bay, was incorporated Ｏn 25 July 2012 and construction of the Factory began shortly thereafter. It is currently the largest Dimension Stone Processing Plant in Africa in terms of the size of the Building and the designed capacity of Production. The Plant started trail production since February 2015. BC Stone Products (Namibia) (PTY) Ltd, is a subsidiary of BC Stone Group, which is the largest Dimension Stone Company in the world. Another Namibian based subsidiary of BC Stone Group, Best Cheer Investments (PTY) Ltd is incorporated in Namibia and has been operating since 2011, focusing Ｏn Dimension Stone Exploration and mining. The Corporation has various quarries in Namibia where they are mining for marble and granite. All the raw are currently exported to China and Italy, where it will be processed into finished products. Apart from the Economic Motivation, the motivation behind this Establishment is NDP4 planned and is an answer to the government calling Ｏn 2030 Vision and a response to mineral beneficiation and strategy. The Investment has so far excessed N$ 300 million. The final total of this Investment will be around N$ 500 million. As the building size of BC Stone Products Factory is 30000 m2, which clearly indicates a reflection of BC Stone Group’s confidence in Namibia and in Namibian people as well as Namibian Government. The aim of the Company is to convert the raw material (raw marble and granite blocks) into finished products such as wall and floor cladding, tiles, bathroom accessories, mosaic tiles, fire places, counter tops and ornaments.
