Key Responsibilities: ·To propose solutions that comprise China Telecom services, telecommunication and ICT products for Enterprise customer requirements. ·To involve in the whole Pre-Sales Solution stage that may comprise of attending customer meetings, formulate a winning strategy by producing the best solution design, provide presentations, demonstrations, proposal writing and answer RFP/bid. ·Provide Bid management functions of ICT projects. ·Provide solution input in BSS within specified KPI timescales, ensure solution is deliverable. ·To provide oral/written communication with sales and customers to ensure accurate response. ·Provide adequate backup to other team member during leave. ·Work as a team to provide new ideas and share solution knowledge via regular team meetings. ·Highlight and escalate any issues to Director as necessary. ·Escalate issues to the relevant technical experts when appropriate ·Solution Team to be the ‘Center of Excellence’ On certain products and services, where individual members will be Technical Experts to provide guidance to other CT regional teams. ·Produce solutions using CT products but not limited to our services if it does not meet customers’ requirements. I.e. use of total off-net solution if needed. ·Update Server in SA Solution Folder with Bid Templates, unique solutions, new solution suppliers and contacts. ·Highlight problems in BSS in order that is preventing from providing solutions as efficiently as possible. ·Centralise all bid documents. ·Provide high level training to Sales Team On new and relevant solution services. ·Assist sales with pre sales engagements and taking ownership for the solution ·Take a lead role in client meetings in order to establish key information and propose appropriate solutions. ·Provide validation and guidance On proposals for internal teams ·Accountable for the overall solution passed to Project Management. ·Accurately maintain data entries in the relevant fields of the appropriate business systems. ·Other tasks assigned by line manager Requirements: ·5 years’ experience in technology related work, including solution manager, presales specialist or technical sales engineer in a customer facing environment ·Experience and expertise in at least two of the following areas: networking, security, datacenter facility, unified communication, virtualization ·Hands On and/or architecture experience On large scale enterprise and service provider environment ·Understand what it take to be a successful solution manager ·Any relevant certification will be a plus (e.g. CCIE, VCP) ·A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, related field or equivalent experience ·Must be fluent in Mandarin and English
