Description: This position represents a great opportunity to become part of an international growing team and take responsibility for providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support, application development, and part production. In addition, this role will support our efforts in coordinating the logistics needs of our Americas business. Our 3D printing solutions are focused On manufacturing parts in high-performance polymers targeted to demanding market segments such as aerospace, automotive, high tech, and medical. INTAMSYS Technology Americas team is looking for a Technical Engineer that will help INTAMSYS to grow by offering technical support, application development, and part production. The support tasks will be strongly focused On our sales partners to support their local (prospective) customers as well as to continuously work with our partners to improve their local supportability. The printing will strongly be focused On printing benchmark and testing parts. This position will be based near Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA). The Technical Engineer reports to the Technical Leader, Americas, and works closely with our Global Sales Team, Channel Sales Operations, and Technical & Application Support Team. Tasks & Responsibilities • Demonstrate expertise in INTAMSYS equipment, materials, and software • Support pre/post-sales activities with technical knowledge of INTAMSYS solutions • Provide 2nd level technical support to our customers and channel partners who need assistance • Support first-time installations by partners or at strategic customers • Provide training to sales & service partners • Support application center equipment including print queues for benchmarks, print service, sample parts, etc. • Oversee local inventory of systems, filaments, and spare parts for the Americas market • Coordinate the incoming and outgoing shipments of systems, filaments, spare parts, and printed parts • Support application development, material testing, and print production parameter development • Support customer visits to our Application Center by product demonstration, presentations • Support events (training, tradeshow, conferences, seminars, VIP visits) held by INTAMSYS or our sales partners regionally • Develop excellent customer relationships and help us to provide a superior customer experience Requirements • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant hands-on experience in B2B. • Experience using 3D software, such as Magics, SOLIDWORKS, Cura, etc • Experience running 3D printing/Additive Manufacturing equipment • Experience with shipping & logistics • ‘People’ person with open, ‘can do attitude. No 9-5 mentality • Excellent presentation, demonstration, and communication skills • Sound business acumen • No need for close supervision – self-starter • Well organized and professional • Hands-on problem solver with a customer-first attitude • Team player in a multicultural environment • Need to travel frequently (~25%) within the Americas Preferred Skills • Expertise in working with modern CRM and ERP systems • Knowledge of polymers and/or FDM/FFF technology • Broad knowledge of traditional manufacturing methods Able to speak, read and write in Chinese/Mandarin, Spanish,English
