Summary/objective

As the Product Development Manager, you will play a critical role in the success of Raytecs.

Your primary duty will be to manage a team of pattern makers and graphic designers to develop garments based Ｏn customer requirements. Your reports will further include: the sample maker / pilot line supervisor (to be hired) and QC manager for the pilot line. It will be your responsibility to set the standards for the products to meet the requirements for the international market place.

Job objective

Manage the product life cycle from customer requests through design and sample making to product delivery. We expect you to build a professional team that can handle requests from an international customer base.



Responsibilities:

• Understand customer’s requirements for design and style and communicate to the design team.

• Assist Ｏn communicating with the customer to refine requests and clarify uncertainties.

• Create new designs, patterns and styles for the Raytecs collection.

• Develop internal procedures for information flow from initial request to finished products.

• Setup workflows, create job descriptions and define clear roles and responsibilities for the teams.

• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

Education and Experience requirements:

• Extensive experience in garment industry as garment technician and pattern maker

• Experience working with garmnet industry software, like Abode package and Optitex

• Proficiency in mainstream drawing software such as AI, CAD etc.
