We are seeking applications for two postdoctoral positions in an NIH-funded laboratory in City of Hope National Medical Cneter and Beckman Research Institute, located in eastern Los Angeles. For the last decade, we have been focusing Ｏn the mechanistic probing why the FEN1 family nucleases are substrate structure-specific; posttranslational modifications-mediated determination of the in vivo dynamics of the enzymes (e.g. subcellular localization and Ｏnto and off from the DNA replication fork); and establishment of cancer etiological models of the FEN1 mutations identified in human cancer patients. Recent Ph.D. graduates or equivalents in the field of biological sciences with U.S. citizenship or Permanent residency are encouraged to apply.
