About the Role The company is looking for a dynamic IT leader to develop the company’s travel technology to improve the digital footprint of the company, specifically for its OTA business. Responsibilities • Create a technology roadmap that underwrites our ambition to be the leading travel brand in our markets in 5 years based On blending leading technology with existing proprietary software in a way that maximises our profit. • Be an integral part in defining, planning and implementing the continual development of the company’s digital platforms (including website, mobile apps); • Work closely with Head of IT and Technical Sales & Marketing to ensure the performance of both Online platform and mobile apps are optimized; • Integrate and consolidate all new technology with the company’s existingtravel systems • Synthesise business requirement based On the feedback from sales & marketing team to product team to translate into tech solutions; • Set up guidelines and SOPs to optimise performance among each team; • Define and measure the right metrics to assess the efficiency On internal process; • Research, develop and maintain relationship with vendors to ensure the digital platforms are running smoothly and meeting the needs of both customers and internal teams; • Use insights and analysis collected from the platforms to further improve the performance and efficiency of the digital platforms; Requirements • Degree educated; • Mandarin speaker and fluent spoken and written English • Minimum 5 years’architecture and design experience, preferably in the travel sector; • Strong data analytical skills; • Technical savvy, familiar with the latest trends and development in Online platforms, big data and AI; • Excellent communications and ability to persuade senior stakeholders; • Entrepreneurial and willing to go extra miles; • Knowledge of China tourism market will be a plus.
