What you need to get the job done · Our ideal candidate will have a Masters Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience and 10 years of experience in, or similar. Candidates must have at least 5 years of industry experience bringing solutions to market. Successful candidates will have the ability to: · Provide technical advice and direction to project management and business development · Research, develop and implement new and innovative design strategies · Understand and be able to design elements of a complete digital system including processors, memories (DDR, eMMC), inter-chip communication protocols and displays. · Complete component selection and device characterization · Prepare schematics, and support layout activities · Perform board level design and verification · Trouble shoot and debug hardware issues · Write specifications, test documentation and reports · Perform board level system bring-up and integration · Candidate should be highly motivated, a self starter, and a team player · Able to work well with in a multidisciplinary team · Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and manage many different projects at Ｏnce · Excellent English skills, both verbal and written, providing effective communication to build strong relationships internally as well as with our customers. What will make us REALLY love you · Experience designing high speed interfaces such as 25G Ethernet and above, high speed SERDES such as JESD204B and PCIe Gen 2 and above. · Experience designing analog circuits such as ADC/DAC, amplifiers, and audio circuits. · Ability to take customer requests and generate firm requirements to support proposal work. · Ability to accurately estimate time required for various design phases to support scheduling. · Ability to examine existing designs to identify areas of concern, offer multiple solutions and the risks associated with each. · Detailed understanding of the trade offs involved with component choice and layout strategies. · Experience in networking or telecommunication · Understanding of EMI/EMC as it relates to digital design. · Outstanding problem-solving ability, including debugging/analytical skills · Organized, goal-oriented, self-starter, with a team focused mentality · Able to mentor and guide junior members of the team
